Artist Statement

Asian, Medieval, and Byzantine art often influence my designs. Observing nature, traveling extensively, and living in the Berkshires inspire my landscapes and urban scenes. I enjoy the meticulous process of shaping cloisonné wires, experimenting with colors, and layering the many levels of fused enamel. When polished and mounted in a setting, I have produced a beautiful, unique, and wearable piece of cloisonné jewelry.
